Even though I use the Calendar on my phone quite a bit, there's nothing better than having ALL the family activities written on a calendar for all to see!  Each year, one of my most favorite projects is to create my STUDIO J 12x12 monthly calendars.  I create three of them, one for myself, one for my parents and one for my in-laws.  I actually work on them all year long in STUDIO J , which makes the job go a whole lot quicker at the end of the year :) Here's how it's done:  First, I get these awesome 12x12 calendars from CTMH : I stamp the name of the Month, then write in all the dates and finish it by adding some stamping that coordinates with the calendar page :) Now for the Scrapbooked part..... I use STUDIO J !!!!!  Why???  It allows me to create a layout ONCE, then print as many as I want!  I could make 20 calendars (but I won't, haha). For the last several years, I have created THREE scrapbooked calendars for family and myself.  I used to do this the traditional scrapbook way, but now I do it the Studio J way! Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop!   We will be featuring artwork from the Pear & Partridge paper Pack If you have come here from Catherine's blog then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Sharondalyn's Blog (This blog hop will be completely live by midnight tonight!!) The Pear & Partridge paper Pack is one of our most "manly" paper packs in the Idea Book. It also has a western flair to it.  I think my favorite way to use it is in a patriotic theme!  Today I have created another My Creations Star with the Pear & Partridge paper Pack .  I'm telling you, these stars are super easy to make! To make this star, first I sponged New England Ivy ink along the edges of the star.  Then I used the Star Pattern from CTMH ( click here for pattern ) and cut out my paper.  I used Bonding Memories glue to adhere the papers on.  Finally, I cut a several pointsetta flowers in sizes ranging from ...

For the last 4 years, I have created 12x12 scrapbooked calendars for my parents, my in-laws and for myself.  The first two years, I did traditional scrapbooked pages on the calendars.  Last year I started using Studio J for my calendar pages.  The Studio J calendars were a HUGE HIT!!!!!  Both mom's commented on how beautiful the pages were and how much lighter and thinner the calendar was!  Not to mention, they could be fully embellished without the bulk! Merry Christmas !!!!!!!! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas with your loved ones and Santa brought you all you wanted!  Mine was perfect! Here is the December layout from my calendar this year!  The large picture is what we used on our Christmas cards this year (from Costco). I'm looking forward to a Scrappy New Year!

This is IT!  This is the big gift that I make each year for my family (and myself)!!!!! For the last two years, I've created traditionally scrapbooked 12x12 calendars for my parents, my in-laws and myself.  This year I switched over to using Studio J layouts and I LOOOOOOVE the outcome!  The pages are all so sharp looking, they are fully embellished and the calendar is super thin and light!  Woohooo! All of my calendar layouts from Studio J have been posted already, but here is the final product: Sorry for the dark pics, its been raining for 4 straight days here.... As a Studio J member, I was able to print out my layouts (2-pagers) for $6.50 (then I got my consultant discount on top of that!).  Then I got the JPEG images for free, and I printed 2 more copies of each calendar page at costco for $2.99.  So for $36, I had 12 layouts and the Calendar was another $7.95.  Pretty nice gift for under $50!  PLUS they will have scrapbooked layou...
