Everything ABC Blog Hop- B is for Baby Boy

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter B. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their B element will be featured in their post. If you came from Kelly ~ Paper Petal Memories then you're on the right track! B is for BABY BOY Today I want to show off my Baby Boy Mini Album that I create with Avonlea & Scholastic papers! If you missed my BABY GIRL album, you can see it HERE.  This Baby Boy mini album was based loosely on a mini album given to consultants at Convention to create.  I used the papers they gave us, some of the instructions, but then went off on my own. To create this album, I used the Dimensional Elements Album page s that coordinates with Cricut Artiste .  I cut the papers to fit the album pages perfectly, adhered with Bonding Memories Glue and sponged the edges in Slate ink.   All elements were cut using Ar...

CTMH-- Artiste in August Day 21- Teacher Gift Box

Welcome back to Day 21 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .   Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   Today we are featuring the Tall Box on page 40 (11 in assembly book.  This box was cut at 5 1/4" and sits about 5 1/2" tall.  I used the Scholastic papers, the burlap pattern for the box then the book spine pattern for the top and bottom.  I glued the bottom on, but just set the top on.  I used some Outdoor Denim Twill ribbon to hold it all together, then added some burlap ribbon, cut in half, to tie a bow. I created the tag out of the blue grid paper, using A Typeface and Bingo Alphabet stamp sets.  I have seen this sentiment/tag all over pinterest, so instead of printing it, I created my own.  My son started school today, so we took this to his teacher!  Of course the box is filled with home made chocolate chip cookies :)  I hope she loves it!!! Here's my boy on his first...

CTMH-- Artiste in August Day 17- Card Sentiments

Welcome back to Day 17 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .   Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   Today is an ANY SHAPE day.  I would like to share some cards with you from my recent All You Can Create Card Class.  I tend to use a lot of Cricut cuts in these cards because it's easy to pop in some cardstock and hit the Quantity button and cut several at a time for class.  These are just some basic cuts for sentiments! This card features Clementine papers and Say It In Style stamps.  I used some Neutral Twine and Brown and Tan Bling.  This card is a copy of a card we created at convention. The sentiment is on a bracket from page 33  This card is a lift of a card I found on Pinterest.  I used the new Ruby ink and Scholastic papers.  I LOOOOVE the burlap ribbon on this one.  All you need to do to fray it as shown is cut off the binding, then pull some of the strings off...

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .  Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   Today we are creating the Gable Box, found on page 37 in the handbook (and 7 in the assembly book). The handbook says to cut this box at 4", but I hit "Fit to Page" and it cut at 4 1/4".   I used Desert Sand Cardstock and the new Scholastic papers.  I stamped "Back 2 school" at the top in cocoa ink.  The stamp can be found in the Scholastic Workshop on the Go.  I added a couple Durable Studs to complete the look.   I thought this would make a great little treat box for my son's teacher when he returns to school!     Cricut Artiste- now available!   The fabulous Cricut Artiste Collection! is now available to order! This cricut cartridge has 698 ALL NEW images, and the bundle comes with 3 stamp sets and 3 chipboard dimensional elements sheets.  Order your ...
