Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for May 2014- You've Got a Friend If you have come here from Krista's Blog , you're on the right path.  This month we have over 50 amazing artists' blogs for you to visit.   This set of 5 sentiments is SO FUN!  You'll be able to create all kinds of artwork with this one!   This weekend I started working with this set "You've Got a Friend" and got on a roll.  I created several cards that I want to share with you :) You Are the Best: This first one is created using Lollydoodle papers and Flamingo dots.   This second one features Honey Triangle Washi Tape , Black Shimmer Trim , Red Washi tape & Metallic Bakers Twine. Merci Beaucoup: On this card, I used Ariana papers and Black Mini Medley .  I stamped the sentiment once in white and trimmed, then again on Sorbet cardstock with black ink and trimmed out just the mustache. ...

I had my Spring Card Class this week and wanted to share the cards that the ladies created :) We created two each of these 3 cards: Top left:  Skylark papers , Teal shimmer trim, Frame Flair stamps & Joyful Birthday Stamps Top Right:  scraplift of Jody G.  Ariana Papers , Striped embossing folder, Artiste & Ariana Assortment Bottom:  Free To Be Me papers (May special), Teal shimmer trim , Perfect Polka-Dot Day stamp, Aqua Dots Then they created these 4 cards (basically just flipping the papers over for a new look). Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!   The blogger in front of me is Cat at http://catscrapbooking.com    The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show our Ariana Artwork with an Attitude, so here we go. Today I have FOUR cards to share with you :) These first two are the same design, with different stamps & papers. This first one has a base of Outdoor Denim, uses the striped pattern and Joyful Wishes stamp set.   I used Metallic Bakers Twine to embellish.    This one has a White Daisy base that I embossed with the Striped Embossing folder.   I used the blue "fan" looking pattern on this one.  The stamped sentiment is from a special Consultant only set.  The shapes are cut from Art Philosophy.  I used Red Shimmer Trim and some bling to embellish.       This next one is scraplifted from Jody.   I used the floral pattern & striped pattern on this one....

It's Shabby Chic week over at H2H challenges!   When this challenge was first proposed, I was stumped by the theme.  However, I have seen some amazing artwork with the new Ariana paper pack , and after a while it started to scream shabby chic to me.  So I created a layout based on a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.  I used the floral paper from Ariana, along with Ariana Coral, Crystal Blue and Ariana Grey cardstocks, as well as Pink Glitter Paper.  I cut a large doily shape using Artbooking in Crystal blue, then trimmed the outer layer to put towards the top of the layout, while the inner layer went on the right side.  With the grey cardstock, I ran it through my Cuttlebug using our new Damask Embossing Folder, then lightly sanded it allowing some of the white core to show through.  I cut Easter using Artbooking as well in the Pink Glitter Paper.   I lightly distressed the edges of the papers with scissors, and added some Colonial White...
