Heart2Heart Challenges- New Beginnings

How many of you say to yourself "I need to use what I have before I buy more" when it comes to your scrapbooking supplies??  Well, you're not alone!  In fact, I'm pretty sure everyone says that!   In this NEW YEAR, it's  all about NEW beginnings The first challenge at Heart2Heart is to use something NEW on your project: maybe a new product, a new technique, a new baby, or anything that is NEW to you.  Be sure to use some CTMH products in your creation, explain how your project fits the NEW challenge, and of course be sure to mention your favorite challenge blog, Heart 2 Heart! A NEW product to me this month is Babycakes!  While I don't have a "baby" myself, I do have a baby (ok, she's one now) niece.  I finally got a chance to scrapbook some of her NEWborn pictures!   This layout is based off of the layout in the Workshop on the Go kit, but I changed to colors to make it more girly (instead of neutral).  I also changed ...

CTMH- Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop- Chantilly

Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop!  We will be featuring artwork from the Chantilly paper pack. If you have come here from Keeley's Blog then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Catherine's Blog Did you know that Chantilly is the featured paper pack in the Spring Consultant kit??   Today I want to share with you the layout I created based on the Chantilly Workshop on the Go layout.  I wanted to show how a "girly" kit can be made more boyish!  In this layout, I followed the cutting guide in the Workshop on the go, but switched out the papers.  I used Twilight cardstock for my base pages, and sanded it, to lighten it up a little.  I used the Chantilly Workshop stamp set, but added some Easter Images and sentiments to make it work for my Easter Layout.   Detail of the tag:  I used Polka Dot Alphabet and (retired) My Peeps.  See how wonderfully our Alcohol Markers colo...

Baby Shower Creations with CTMH

My brother and his lovely wife are finally making me an AUNT!!!!  I'm over the moon excited!  I love babies, but I am DONE creating my own.  I cannot wait to love on, squeeze, kiss, snuggle and SPOIL their baby!  They are having a baby girl too :)  My mom and I threw them a couples/family shower and it was my job to create decorations for the shower.  I took it upon myself to create some gifts as well.  The theme we went with was Baby Carriages, in their colors:  Grey, Pink and White. JOURNAL:  I used an older CTMH Journal, Dotty For You papers, Sweet Leaf Ribbon, Friendship Alphabet and Polka Dot Alphabet. EMILY BANNER:  I cut the Baby Carriages  with the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge.  I used Posterboard Alphabet for the letters. EMILY BLOCKS:  This is by far my favorite of all the things I created!  I used the CTMH 3x3 My Creations chipboard blocks and created the fronts using a variety of CT...

Scrapbooking Sunday!

What day of the week do you scrapbook most???  I can say that I sit down to scrapbook on most Sundays :)  Such a relaxing thing to do during nap time or even after a restful weekend, late Sunday night! I have not shared layouts in a while, so here are a few from the past couple Sunday's: This week, my scrapbook club worked with the Mayberry kit.  I have found this kit to be so versatile and works well with any kind of pictures.  I created the featured 2-page layout in the kit, then created these 4 additional layouts. Just Dance- here I added some ribbon from the Pink Ribbon Collection, and used the Token Alphabet and the Ecclectic Irresistible Alphabet. Ride- the Polka Dot Alphabet was perfect for my title here.  I also used the Badge Buttons to create a monogram near the photos. I just love the grid look in this layout.  I used a variety of buttons from the Basic Button Collection, Green Button Collection and Badge Buttons to embellish.  I a...

April Showers Blog Hop

Thanks for joining me for another weekend of Blog Hoppin Fun!   If you have come here from Tina's Blog , you are on the right path!  Keep on hoppin until the end :) April Showers is our theme, and I went with the "shower" theme and made baby cards for baby showers!  I am addicted to making these stacked present cards lately!  I first saw one that my friend Jayma made, who found it on Vicki's blog.  Recently, I saw a couple cute ones on Haley's blog too.   I cut my paper strips at 1.25 tall x 3, 2.25 and 1.5 long.  Add a ribbon down the center, or just a bow on top and you're set!  I used the Sweet Baby stamp set and Polka Dot Alphabet for my sentiments.   Now I'm all set for the next baby shower..... (though I don't know any preggos right now).   This design is also great for Birthday Cards too!!!!  I made two each of these cards and stamped Birthday sentiments on them :) Supplies: BOY: Miracle Level 2 Sweet Baby...
