What day of the week do you scrapbook most???  I can say that I sit down to scrapbook on most Sundays :)  Such a relaxing thing to do during nap time or even after a restful weekend, late Sunday night! I have not shared layouts in a while, so here are a few from the past couple Sunday's: This week, my scrapbook club worked with the Mayberry kit.  I have found this kit to be so versatile and works well with any kind of pictures.  I created the featured 2-page layout in the kit, then created these 4 additional layouts. Just Dance- here I added some ribbon from the Pink Ribbon Collection, and used the Token Alphabet and the Ecclectic Irresistible Alphabet. Ride- the Polka Dot Alphabet was perfect for my title here.  I also used the Badge Buttons to create a monogram near the photos. Its almost Springtime here and I can't wait.  My flowering pear trees are FULL of the little white flowers already and we have pretty daffodils that have sprouted.  Now if the weather would STAY at 70 degrees I'd be one happy lady! I created this card with the inspiration of my trees in the front yard.  My son wanted to make a card so while he stamped, this one just kind of evolved. I stamped the tree first, then the kids on the bench.  It needed some grass below (my daughter helped me with this part).  Then (she helped me) stamp the sun in two colors on the top.  I added the sentiment at the top too.  But being a 6x6 white card, it needed a whole lot more.  I stamped a cloud then cut it out.  Using it as a mask, I sponged Sky ink to create the sky.  I tore some paper and used that as a guide for my landscape sponged in Sweet Leaf ink.  All that was missing was a big yellow button for the sun. I've finally completed the journaling on my Miracle Layouts and they are ready to share :) I used Hollyhock ink as my accent color to bring out the pink in my daughter's outfits. You could use any color you choose! These layouts came together soooooo easily! The most time consuming part was inking and adhering the dimensional elements! I loved using the flip flaps on this one too, so I could incorporate more photos but not have to trim them :) Remember that this Miracle Kit is only available through May 31 (or while supplies last!) Happy St. Patrick's Day and welcome to another round of the ASP blog hop! Today we are inspired by spring! These (oh so cute, but SOLD OUT in my girl's size) pajamas from Gymboree are what we are taking our inspiration from today! I LOOOOVE the blue and white polka dots mixed with the daisy, so that's what I went with here! I also made this same card as a Birthday Card!
