I had my Spring Card Class this week and wanted to share the cards that the ladies created :) We created two each of these 3 cards: Top left:  Skylark papers , Teal shimmer trim, Frame Flair stamps & Joyful Birthday Stamps Top Right:  scraplift of Jody G.  Ariana Papers , Striped embossing folder, Artiste & Ariana Assortment Bottom:  Free To Be Me papers (May special), Teal shimmer trim , Perfect Polka-Dot Day stamp, Aqua Dots Then they created these 4 cards (basically just flipping the papers over for a new look). This week over at Heart2Heart , it's all about HEARTS!!!! Since it's Valentine's week, I'm going to show you a couple of cute projects I created for my latest Kids Kraft Klass!  This one had 11 (ELEVEN) kids at it, ages 4-11.  What a BLAST it was!   First, I had the kids create this HEART wreath!  I used a tutorial from THIS blog , and it was really easy for the kids to make.  The hardest part was stapling all the hearts together (meaning, hard for some to actually push the stapler all the way down!)   I used a variety of papers to create this wreath, including Laughing Lola, Lollydoodle, Sarita, Timberline (these 4 are current ), Dream Pop, For Always, Footloose, Lucy,  & Chantilly (all retired).  Though the tutorial says to use glue dots.... 11 kids x 9 hearts = way too many glue dots!  So we stapled the papers to make the heart shape & stapled them together.     Stop by tomorrow to see what else we cre...

Welcome to Week #3 of the Artbooking in August Blog Hop . Last week's artwork was so amazing and this week over 35 creative consultants are at it again! Their challenge was to create  4 different projects using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack.  Their mission was to design each of the following: 1. 2 page layout  2. Card 3. Mini Book  4. Home decor or 'giftable' item They were able to choose what to make and when to post it. AND if they wanted to add stamps to their designs, that was OK.  This week they will add another great design to the challenge and I am anxious to see what everyone has created! Have you had a chance to look at the Autumn/Winter Idea Book yet??  What's your favorite product??  One of the 6 new My Reflections paper packs, Laughing Lola, is the featured one in my card today!  It also features Shadows & Shades- the technique for the Heart2Heart challenge this week! How FUN is this paper!  I love the jewel tones :) I used the new mini stamp set: Heartfelt Birthday Wish , stamped in Black.  Then I took my Gypsy markers and colored the top and bottom of the words in the light shade and middle section with the darker shade.  I did not do this with "perfection", but I let the shades blend together :)  I also sponged Lagoon Ink onto our Color Ready Seam Ribbon.  I did a fun technique with the yellow'ish paper- I made my own washi tape!  (I'll post a tutorial soon!!)  So the Shadows & Shades technique is also called Ombre!  Check out this video from CTMH, where they show you how to create the...
