What a HOOT!   It's true, the August Stamp of the Month - What a Hoot- is amazing!  This has been the #1 selling stamp set this month :)  Don't let this one pass you by. This is one of the cards we made at my last class.  I used the Chalk It Up Star paper, lagoon cardstock, stamped with In The Background.  I stamped my owl friend on white cardstock, then colored him in with our old alcohol markers.  The hat was stamped on a scratch piece of white cardstock and the wings on another of the patterned paper from  Chalk It Up .    You can't tell in the picture, but I used foam tape to raise the hat and the wings :)  I added sparkles to my owl and black shimmer trim down the center finishes this card off.   What do you think???  Is this a birthday card??? This stamp set is not typically "my style", but I challenged myself to stamp the flowers for this month!  I love how they came out! My card today is based on the Mojo Monday Sketch #282 .  I used the die-cut shaped cards as my base.  First I used Honey ink to stamp the flowers in a cluster at the top of my card.  I stamped the solid image in second generation, then they detail on top in full color.  I used some black shimmer trim along the bottom left and paper from For Always .  I used the new Joyful Birthday set for the sentiment.  I added some black t...
