Happy Birthday- Sk8r

My baby boy turns 8 years old today- how is that even possible??  8 years old is so big!  He's in 2nd grade, he's so big and so smart.  Yet he is still my first baby, my energizer bunny, my boy.  Here's the birthday card I created for him: I used the (retired) Later Sk8r papers and stamp set, along with Blue Green Epoxy Bubbles & Burlap Ribbon (where I cut just one edge off).  He's desperate for a skateboard this year, so I had to make him a Skater card :) Remember this layout ??  He loves to ride on the neighbor's skateboard... he gets his own today! HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!!

CTMH-- For Always & Bling Card

After creating 15 cards from the For Always Card Workshop Kit - I had some leftover patterned paper.  I found a great sketch and got to work :) I used Deconstructed Sketch #91 for this card.  For my color pop, I literally just grabbed the first piece of scrap cardstock that I could find- which was Pear.  I cut the banner shapes with Art Philosophy in the Glitter Paper and Pear cardstock. I created a rosette flower with the back of that damask print paper, adding my favorite Rhinestone Brad in the center. I added a sentiment from the Happy Birthday set and the card is complete! ************************************* LeT's PaRtY!!!!!!!!!
