I thought I would go back a couple months and show you January and February's Event Calendar pages :)   For the January topper, I used Pacifica cardstock and paper from Magnifique.  I cut the snowflake out of sugarcoated cardstock with A Child's Year from my cricut.  I added a little blue sparkle to the center.  Stamped down the calendar in sky ink are snowflakes from the Holiday Trinkets stamp set. I've been going through my layouts from this year (some are in boxes, some are in a drawer, none are in albums yet) and I wanted to showcase my favorite ten of the year!  Olivia Kit of the Month--- I was not a huge fan of the "fallish" layout that was featured, but I knew the colors would go perfectly with my daughters 2 year pictures.  Ice Cream- Hooligans Papers, Party Pennants and I Scream stamps.  Simple, lots of white space, but just enough! Magnifique Dad Layout- I love this pattern from the Magic How To Book BOYZ- Zippidee papers with another Pattern from Magic Another magnificent layout with Magnifique !  These blues are really amazing! Sweet Cherries- Cherry-O had such great colors!  I used up every inch of that paper pack! Spring Time with Splendor !  Veranda - very elegant and perfect for this picture! ....for now! Here is the second of the 2 pages that we completed at Convention. We used the Magnifique Kit once again.   If you missed the first, see it HERE. This is yet another interactive layout I created using the all new Magic How-To book . When corporate asked us to bring photos for this layout, it listed 20 pictures in different sizes for "layout 2".  I thought to myself "how in the world will I fit 20 pictures on one page?" and "I don't have 20 pictures of the same event".  Sure enough, using the new 12" flip flaps, this layout has 21 pictures on it! Here is yet another interactive layout I created using the all new Magic How-To book .  We created this layout at Convention in Washington DC this summer and I taught it to my Kit of the Month group on Sunday.  They LOVED IT!  Everyone was so thrilled to learn how to use the 12" Flip Flaps in order to add to their scrapbooks. Mezmerize left side There is an 8" Flip flap on the left and 4" flip flap on the right.  With 8" Flap opened: Both Flaps opened: I still need to do some journaling or add another picture in the blank spots My favorite parts of this layout (besides the 12" flip flaps ) are: 1- the use of the new Foundry Flourishes metal accents.  I love how they create a "buckle" behind the peacock on the front page and the little photo corners in the corners of the page.  2- the stamped peacock!  We used " Circle of Love " and inked the whole peacock in Pear, then rolled the head and tail in Lagoon.  Add some Mocha opaques o...

Have you seen the new Magic book???  This all new How-To book by Jeanette Lynton is amazing!  It will teach you how to make your scrapbook pages truly "Magic"al!  The patterns alone are fantastic, but the details of making them interactive are super cool!  This weekend my Kit of the Month club will be working with the Magnifique Kit.  In addition to the featured scrapbook pages in the kit, I am teaching them 2 layouts from Magic. This layout is called "Now you see it"  I created both pages of the layout, but not as a 2-page spread.  This is the left side layout: This is the right side page.  I cut a "hole" in my base page to show the slide out piece.  When laying in the album, you'll be able to see the journaling.  You can pull the little metal tab to see the additional pictures when the piece is slid out.  Supplies: All CTMH unless noted Magnifique Workshop on the go Z1340 Lagoon Mini Medleys     ...
