The NEW Spring/Summer 2011 Idea Book from CTMH is almost here!  In January there will be a preview of some awesome new papers, stamps, embellishments and a banner project!  Stay tuned for more on that. I was on vacation this past week, away from my scrap room, away from my paper, inks and stamps, away from reality.  I did however have a wireless internet connection :-)  So I brought my flash drives with me and worked on some Studio J layouts!   I am currently working on creating Calendar Layouts!  Some of my calendar pages will be 2-pagers- one being for the calendar and the matching page to go in the books.  Others will be single layouts, with a completely separate layout created next to it.  Since Studio J only works in 2-page layouts, I am making it work for my single paged calendar pages :) March- Veranda May- Magic Moments Pink Jeep- Magic Moments (right side of May layout) You too could scrapbook ANYWHERE!!!!!!! I tell you, I'm really loving using Studio J for events that have LOTS and LOTS of pictures! I think this just may cut down on the # of pages that go in the albums and I can save my paper playing for the fun every day shots :) Besides that, I can use it for paper packs that I either don't have (like this one: Magic Moments) or ones that I've used up all the paper and don't want to buy another whole set (like I did with Rough and Tumble, the last birthday LO) OR for paper packs that are retired (there are a few that are in Studio J but are retired now)

I held my latest technique card class this past Monday evening! House Card: I have seen this house card a couple of times while blog hopping. Here's my version: Technique: special folds Supplies- all CTMH PP- Magic Moments CS- Dutch Blue and Colonial White Stamps- For Every Occasion etc- Silver Hinges & Brads, Coco Ink, Coco Marker Flower Pot Card This is a card I have seen in tons of places on the net also! This particular version is inspired by fellow consultant Nona Davenport . Yes, the same one that I lift all the time :) Technique: Special folds, embossing with white on darker CS.
