It is our final challenge at Heart 2 Heart challenges for 2014?!?  It is time to drag out the tinsel!  We are throwing down a glitzy color challenge for you: Silver, Lagoon, and Black!   I pulled out my Artfully Sent Cartridge to create a beautiful, quick and easy Christmas card. This card was cut from Silver Glitter paper , at 4".  I backed the wording with Lagoon cardstock, then placed it on a black cardstock card base.  I added some sparkles to finish it off.   Head over to Heart2Heart Challenges to see the DT FINAL creations of the year!   Thanks for playing along with us at Heart2Heart this year!  

To conclude the November "No" challenges, Heart2Heart is doing No Rules this week.  So that means anything goes! This week's challenge at Heart2Heart is NO INK! How can I craft without ink???  Well, I could do a Cricut project.... better yet, I could just scrapbook in Studio J! This weeks' challenge at Heart2Heart is a Sketch Challenge.   Here's my interpretation: I used the Pathfinding Paper Pack , Pathfinding Workshop on the Go stamp set , Teal Shimmer Trim and Gold Sequins When I stamped "Thankful" I inked the stamp with Goldrush Ink, then I swiped Cocoa ink over it, giving it a streaky look.   Be sure to check out the sketch challenge over at Heart2Heart this week!

This card was cut at 5" in black. This week's challenge over at Heart2Heart Challenges is Inspired by Food.   A couple weeks ago we went fruit picking at a local u-pick farm.  The fruits were delicious, the scenery was amazing and the company was fabulous.   I decided to scrapbook this adventure with Studio J.   I used the Flirty Kit for this layout. You've heard me rave before about Studio J , and this is no exception!  I took tons of pictures and was able to incorporate lots of them in this layout without having to print any of them, or crop any of them.  I just uploaded and dragged them into the slots.  EASY PEASY! I hope you'll play along with us a Heart2Heart this week!

This week's challenge over at Heart2Heart is using Picture My Life .  Now typically, you would use the Picture My Life program as intended- for quick and easy album pages.  (See this VIDEO ) But did you know that there are many other uses for them??   You can use them as accents or journaling boxes on your traditional scrapbook layouts, like mine here. I used the Chantilly Picture My Life cards as accents and title to my layout.  This layout features Lollydoodle Papers, an overlay cut from Artbooking , Pink Glitter paper, rolled flowers cut from Art Philosophy and Aqua Dots.   True to form, this layout came together pretty quickly, thanks to the Picture my Life cards :) Another idea, is to use our Picture My Life Cards on greeting cards- check some out HERE .  Check back tomorrow for some more ideas on how you can use Picture My Life cards.  

This week's theme at Heart2Heart Challenges is The Spice of Life. I struggled with this theme for a while, until I came across the Artbooking cut "sugar & SPICE".  So it's a little out of the box, but here's my Sugar & Spice girly card :) This 6x6 card features Lollydoodle papers &  compliments , Flamingo Dots , Silver Shimmer Trim and *new* Silver Sequins (coming in August). To create this card, I cut the overlay with Artbooking from the G key at 5 1/2" in White Daisy, a bracket frame from Artiste at 4" in the pink pattern, Sugar & Spice from Artbooking at 1 3/4" in both Pear & Juniper.  Once all the pieces were cut, this was easy to put together :) Don't forget that the  Lollydoodle papers  &  compliments   are on the Summer Retiring list, and are only available through July 31st.  Pick your set up today!!! This week at Heart2Heart Challenges , we are starting with a new group of Design Team members.  I am proud to be continuing on the Design Team for another term :) The theme this week is "Up, up and away".  Focus on something up in the air (plane, helicopter, hot air balloon, butterfly, bird, etc.) For this week's challenge, I decided to go through my Picture My Life Skylark kit and pull out my favorite cards with birds & butterflies on them.  I then turned them into greeting cards :) In addition to the Picture My Life cards , I used the Skylark Assortment , Silver Shimmer Trim, Lagoon Zipper Lace, Burlap Ribbon , Sparkles Flourishes, White Enamel Shapes , Quatrefoil Embossing Folder,   Chevron Embossing Folder , Dots Embossing folder & Striped Embossing Folder.  I stamped various words using the July Stamp of the Month- Circus Alphabet , and used the Dreamer stamp set as well.
