I couldn't decide between Fabric Flowers and Fancy Folds... so you get both :) FABRIC FLOWERS I watched a video tutorial on Amie's blog about making fabric flowers with our new TEXTILES, so I gave it a try!  I used the For Always textiles , and added a big shimmer brad in the center.   The card uses the Mojo Monday 284 sketch .  I used Slate Cardstock, Black Glitter Paper and Roxie patterned paper.  The sentiment: You're Amazing is from the Artiste Cricut Collection- Kudos .    FANCY F...

I had my first cardmaking class of 2013 this week!  It was a blast!  So nice to get back to creating and even better to see all my crafty friends :) There were 12 cards to choose from and the ladies each made at least 8.  Success I would say! For the last several years, I have created THREE scrapbooked calendars for family and myself.  I used to do this the traditional scrapbook way, but now I do it the Studio J way! First, I get these awesome 12x12 calendars from CTMH : I stamp the name of the Month, then write in all the dates and finish it by adding some stamping that coordinates with the calendar page :)  I have tried stamping the dates (takes FOOOREVER!!!), I've tried number/date stickers (too time consuming to get those dang things straight)--- so now I just write them in.  Here's what that looks like (from 2011): Now for the Scrapbooked part..... A few days ago when I started wrapping presents, I got out my little tiny gift bags I had in the closet and put a couple of gifts in them.  Well I ran out of those... so I decided to make a couple myself with my Art Philosophy Cartridge.  Well that turned into making a whole bunch and tossing those store bought ones!
