Who doesn't LOVE Glimmer Mist??  I for one, only have one color of Glimmer Mist and just could never bring myself to buy more colors at $5 each.  NOW, thanks to CTMH's new SPRAY PEN, I can make my own!  Check out this fab video tutorial from CTMH that shows YOU how to make and use your own!!!!! These are the cards my group made for the September Techniques class! Techniques were: circle cards & stitching! The circle cards were created using my coluzzle! The coluzzle is still available from CTMH in very limited quantities! The circle template is my favorite and perfect for creating these cards! Our Wishes card book also has tons of circle card sketches and templates you can print out to use at home :) Both of these cards featured the September SOTM- Treasures! For the first, I used my cutterbee to run holes along the edges of the blue pp. Then I took a pen and "connected the dots" giving it a stitched look. I held my latest technique card class this past Monday evening! House Card: I have seen this house card a couple of times while blog hopping. Here's my version: Technique: special folds Supplies- all CTMH PP- Magic Moments CS- Dutch Blue and Colonial White Stamps- For Every Occasion etc- Silver Hinges & Brads, Coco Ink, Coco Marker Flower Pot Card This is a card I have seen in tons of places on the net also! This particular version is inspired by fellow consultant Nona Davenport . Yes, the same one that I lift all the time :) Technique: Special folds, embossing with white on darker CS. Every month, I hold a tecnhiques card class in my home on a Monday night! Tonight's class features embossing (wet and dry) and using liquid applique. PP- Daydream, CTMH CS- hollyhock, CTMH Ink- chocolate, hollyhock Stamp- Cupcake Sprinkles Wishes- card sketch book Using liquid applique- I applied over the top of the stamped cupcake frosting. Used a craft heater to heat, makes it puffy looking. Directions say to let it set for 24 hours then heat. You can do either- the result is slightly different when you wait. This card is completely scraplifted from Lisa Stenz (thanks!) PP- Bella, CTMH CS- Desert Sand Stamp- Buttoned Together Ribbon- hollyhock and olive, CTMH Flowers- Autumn Daisy & Buttons- Colonial white, CTMH Dry embossing, score lines with a stylus or scoring tool, sand the lines. pp- Sarsaparilla, CTMH CS- Colonial white, black, desert sand- CTMH Twill Ribbon- CTMH Sprial clip- misc Stamp- Western Flourish Embossed with black!
