CTMH--- Christmas Layouts - Traditional & Studio J

I am completely finished scrapbooking Christmas 2010!!!  YES, this past Christmas! HOW??? You ask? Well, first of all, I really don't like scrapping Christmas.  There are a few "events", tons of pictures, lots of things to journal about...... I think really the problem is that by the time I get to it mid-year, I am not that into it and have forgotten the memories :( SO, I decided (after some inspiration from Erica and Barbra ) that I would just go ahead and do it now, while its fresh.  AND thanks to Studio J, I was able to get the bulk of it done FAST! What I did was go through the Mistletoe and Wings Workshop Kits and decided which pictures would go in those.  Then I chose some of my favorite pictures to scrap traditionally as well.  Then I started uploading all the rest into Studio J!  Here we go (part 1)   Studio J- Mistletoe Kit   Traditional- Mistletoe, All the Best Traditional- Wings Workshop Kit- main layout.  Bohemian...

~*~ Holiday Blog Hop ~*~

Welcome to the Paper Secrets Holiday Blog Hop. I made a couple of things to share with you today. I created this lovely paper tree by punching a LOT of 1 1/4" circles of Mistletoe Paper, then used pearl floral pins to secure them in rows to a styrofoam cone.  As I neared the top, I had to use some adhesive so that they did not flare out, but sit in the cone shape.  At the top, I stamped 3 stars and adhered them to the top of the cone.  Supplies: Styrofoam cone Pearl Floral Pins CTMH Mistletoe level 2 paper CTMH Mistletoe Creative Basics paper D1320 Shining Star Stamps I created a second paper tree using instructions from Tracey Mason .  I created an accordion flower with a stamped sentiment for my topper on this one.   Supplies: Styrofoam Cone CTMH Mistletoe Level 2 papers K& Co paper D1380 Just for the Holidays Stamps I created a total of four paper trees to sit upon my mantel!  The "subway art" was a free printable from eighteen25 ....

CTMH-- Studio J-- Two more!

Here are the last of my first 10 Studio J Layouts! I completed them all AND have even gotten them back in the mail! The quality is amazing and even though there's no real dimension to them, the embellishments look fabulous! I'm a fan!!! This is a Christmas Day layout and I love the look of the embellies that I added in the 2" squares at the top and bottom. The staples are pretty cool too! This one is a Christmas one that uses the paper kit- It's a Guy Thing. I thought the darker Barn Red and green would look very cool for these pics! I plan to add a swap title that says "Trimming the Tree" to the bottom right of the first page, thus the lack of title. Studio J should be available to the public very soon! You will be able to use it through my website HERE when its available!

CTMH-- Studio J--- Christmas Layout

Just wanted to share yet another Studio J layout I created. Now that I've done a couple, its getting faster, simpler, easier! Seriously. This one took me less than an hour :) And I don't have to blow up the big photo or resize the other 3. Just place them in the photo well and adjust from there :) I love the distressing I can do, adding whatever embellishments I want (or leaving the standard ones that they have "pre-set" for you). I urge you to give Studio J a try when its available to all!!!!!
