Roxybonds Creates

This week I created a couple different fabric flowers using CTMH's new Textiles.  While I was doing that, I brought out my Rosette Ribbon and made a flower with that too!  To create the flower, I took about 15 inches of the rosette ribbon, using liquid glass, I glued it to a circle punched at 1.5".  The center is a big shimmer brad that I colored with my Gypsy marker.  Then the Mojo Monday sketch 284 for this week was a perfect fit for this flow er card.  Over at Color My Heart- the Color Dare challenge was to use two different paper packs, so I used up some older papers for this one- the Pink pattern is Flirty and the marbled background paper is from Moonlight.  The stamp set is Party Pennants.  I also used some Silver Glitter paper.  Come back later tonight to see the other two flowers I created with the CTMH Textiles!

Last week's All You Can Create Card Class was awesome!  The ladies enjoyed it and walked away with anywhere from 10-18 cards!  WOOHOOO! Don't you just LOVE CTMH's new colors????  I DO!!!!! Today I have taken inspiration from a few places for this layout! Jeanette Lynton posted about the new Summer Carnival Palette and the Summer Celebration Palette recently.  The artwork shown in these posts capitalize on the brilliance of the new colors! The sketch I used today comes from Creative Scrappers - Sketch #84 I was also inspired by the colors and pennants from the Stampin' Celebration Challenge #21 I had a great time stamping, using my Cricut (Once Upon a Princess cart) and embossing with my Cuttlebug.  It's not very often that ALL of these toys get played with on one layout! I met with my group for the Zippidee Kit of the Month yesterday!!!  While they created their scrapbook pages and cards, I was able to get a couple cards created as well.  Lucky for me, as a CTMH consultant, I get a preview month to order and play with NEW product.  For these cards, I used the new set "Party Pennants".  Pennants are the newest rage in scrapbooking.  Whether they are stamped or hand cut, they are everywhere!!!  CTMH is always on top of the trends and this set is just perfect!  Supplies: All CTMH unless noted: Zippidee Level 2 Holiday Craft Buttons Black Waxy Flax *NEW*Party Pennants Cranberry, Black & Indian Corn Blue ink
