~*~ 5 Days of Gifts~*~ Stamped Tile Coasters

Today I'm featuring Stamped Tile Coasters.  I searched and searched, read many tutorials and blogs looking for the best way to stamp on tiles.  The tiles I bought were tumbled (aka not smooth).  It was not easy to stamp on them due to its uneven surface, as well as the slippery surface.  I used Timber Brown StazOn ink with a few different stamp sets ( Western Flourish , Delightful Things , The Goodness of Life and my favorite:  Alfresco).  After stamping, I "baked" them in the oven at 300 for about 25 minutes to set the ink.  I added small felt feet on the bottom and wrapped them in sets of 4 for gift giving!  Get out your favorite stamp set, some Stazon Ink and start stamping some of your own tiles!!!

September Card Class

These are the cards my group made for the September Techniques class! Techniques were: circle cards & stitching! The circle cards were created using my coluzzle! The coluzzle is still available from CTMH in very limited quantities! The circle template is my favorite and perfect for creating these cards! Our Wishes card book also has tons of circle card sketches and templates you can print out to use at home :) Both of these cards featured the September SOTM- Treasures! Supplies: Card on left Grace Level 2 September SOTM White embossing powder Chocolate ink Card on right Twitterpated Level 2 September SOTM Chocolate ink Sponge Crystal Blue Waxy flax for stitching This card features 2 faux stitching techniques! For the first, I used my cutterbee to run holes along the edges of the blue pp. Then I took a pen and "connected the dots" giving it a stitched look. For the second, I used the Simple Stitches stamp set to create a zig zag stitch along the yellow pp. Supplies G...
