This week over at Heart2Heart , it's all about HEARTS!!!! Since it's Valentine's week, I'm going to show you a couple of cute projects I created for my latest Kids Kraft Klass!  This one had 11 (ELEVEN) kids at it, ages 4-11.  What a BLAST it was!   First, I had the kids create this HEART wreath!  I used a tutorial from THIS blog , and it was really easy for the kids to make.  The hardest part was stapling all the hearts together (meaning, hard for some to actually push the stapler all the way down!)   I used a variety of papers to create this wreath, including Laughing Lola, Lollydoodle, Sarita, Timberline (these 4 are current ), Dream Pop, For Always, Footloose, Lucy,  & Chantilly (all retired).  Though the tutorial says to use glue dots.... 11 kids x 9 hearts = way too many glue dots!  So we stapled the papers to make the heart shape & stapled them together.     Stop by tomorrow to see what else we cre...

Recently, my little cousin, who happens to be my daughters BFF, was diagnosed with Cancer.  She's 4.  Sweet Ariya Grace was diagnosed just before Thanksgiving with Rhabdomyosarcoma, after a mass quickly grew on her eye.  To date, she has been through 4 rounds of Chemotherapy and will go through Radiation in a few weeks.  She's a sweet, spunky little girl who is a fighter!  For Christmas, I decided to make her a little flip flap album full of pictures of her and my daughter from the last few months :)  I used the promotional packet- Dream Pop, Silver Glitter Paper, Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape , Pink Polka dot Washi Tape, sparkles & 4x6 Flip Flaps The cover: A few of the pages: All I did was cut my papers to 4x6, add the photos and a few little embellishments and slid them into the 4x6 Flip Flaps.  I then cut strips of white cardstock to use as "spine expanders".  I adhered everything together and added some of the Pink Pol...

We made these cards in my Dream Pop card workshop.  Basically, the starburst starts along the left edge of the card base, instead of in the center.   Here are the steps: *Cut 1.5" x 5.5" strips of patterned paper (double sided is best). *Take strip and turn it in your cutter so that it's diagonal.  Line up opposite corners along your cut line and CUT.  Now you have 2 diagonal strips *Starting at the left side of the card, line up a straight edge along the fold of the card.  *Fan out the rest of your pieces, making sure to cover the top and ...

HaPpY MoThErS DaY!!!!!! I want to share with you the Mother's Day cards that I have created this week :)  There are many "mothers" in my life, so I thought I'd celebrate them all!  These cards go out to my mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-law (first time mom!!), grandmother & aunts. I'm also sharing a baby card, thank you card and a gift! This card was inspired by an older sketch that I used HERE .  I used Lucy & Chantilly papers to make the rosettes and the Perfect Fit Mom stamp set.  This card uses Freshly Made Sketch #85.   I used my cuttlebug to emboss the Buttercup cardstock and ran hollyhock ink over the dots.  The papers are Chantilly and the sentiment is from Perfect Fit Mom .  ((Linking to Freshly made Sketch #85 )) This card features the Claire paper pack and Perfect Fit Mom .  I added some Colonial White Rosette Ribbon and some Pearl Opaques to this card.
