**This is my 500th post.... WOW** I'm so happy to have a home to display my home decor projects in! I was inspired by this banner by Lisa Stenz .  I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to make one of my own for the entry in our new home!  It took me a while.... a long while, to make this.  Maybe it was because I was sicker than sick when I created it, but it seemed to take forever. On four of the banner pieces, I used the Spray Pen with Vineyard Berry reinker, create a shade pearl paint & water and sprayed the actual chipboard.  On the other three banner pieces I used some old Silhouette paper.  The paper rosettes were made with two 2" strips of patterned paper, accordian folded and glued together.  I used the Silhouette paper on the red banners and Wings paper for the others.  I used our new 2" scallop circle punch for the red background and the Bohemian Alphabet for the letters. I am completely finished scrapbooking Christmas 2010!!!  YES, this past Christmas! HOW??? You ask? Well, first of all, I really don't like scrapping Christmas.  There are a few "events", tons of pictures, lots of things to journal about...... I think really the problem is that by the time I get to it mid-year, I am not that into it and have forgotten the memories :( SO, I decided (after some inspiration from Erica and Barbra ) that I would just go ahead and do it now, while its fresh.  AND thanks to Studio J, I was able to get the bulk of it done FAST! I have been a CTMH consultant for almost 4 years and have grown a nice little team :)  Most of my team is scattered across the US, but I have a few ladies that are local to me. I am having my first official "team meeting" tonight and wanted to make each of them a little something! I created an altered notepad, based on instructions from fellow consultant Vicki W. I used the new Wings Level 2 paper pack, Dreams Come True and January's Stamp of the Month- Find Your Style, the Wings Level 2 assortment (pleated ribbon) and Pearl Opaques.  You can find these items in January's INSPIRATIONS Flyer HERE.  I used the "puddle pad" technique to stamp the butterfly.  I used Vineyard Berry, Juniper and Black reinkers on a wipe, then inked my stamp.  I love the Tie-Dye effect you get with this technique!  Add some pearl opaques and its done!
