CTMH--- Wings Notepads for my TEAM

I have been a CTMH consultant for almost 4 years and have grown a nice little team :)  Most of my team is scattered across the US, but I have a few ladies that are local to me.

I am having my first official "team meeting" tonight and wanted to make each of them a little something!

I created an altered notepad, based on instructions from fellow consultant Vicki W.

I used the new Wings Level 2 paper pack, Dreams Come True and January's Stamp of the Month- Find Your Style, the Wings Level 2 assortment (pleated ribbon) and Pearl Opaques.  You can find these items in January's INSPIRATIONS Flyer HERE.

I used the "puddle pad" technique to stamp the butterfly.  I used Vineyard Berry, Juniper and Black reinkers on a wipe, then inked my stamp.  I love the Tie-Dye effect you get with this technique!  Add some pearl opaques and its done!

I would LOVE for YOU to join my team too!  We are making plans for a trip to DISNEYLAND for the 2011 CTMH CONVENTION!  Wouldn't you like to join us???

The Spring/Summer 2011 New Consultant kit is available NOW!

The puddle pad technique works great with the butterfly. I love the result, and your notebooks came out beautifully.

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...

CTMH-- September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favori

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September 2012, featuring Fall Favorites   All artwork on the hop will feature Fall Favorites!  This is a set of 11 stamps and it's really making me want FALL---- NOW!!!  How cute is this set!?  If you have come here from  Susan's Blog y ou are on the right path. For my card today, I used the new Clementine paper pack, which is so versatile!  I cut the tag from Art Philosophy and stamped Fall Favorites in Brown Staz-on ink, then colored the pumpkin and leaves with my new markers.  I found that they don't blend and shade terribly well on Kraft cardstock- but the color showed up.  I added some of my favorite Burlap Ribbon to the card :) Do you think I like pumpkin pie???  Just a little bit ;) The September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favorites is available September 1-30th.  With any $50 purchase, this set is yours for $5....
