Just before Christmas, when I was completely finished shopping, wrapping and prepping, I spent a day sewing! I decided to make my kids some new fleece pj pants, and myself some flannel ones.

For the kids, I searched for online tutorials, and this is the one I used: HERE

I had some fabric left, so I cut a 6" wide piece, fringed the edges and made them matching scarves.

For Christmas, we got my daughter a HUGE princess castle vinyl for her room. I've been waiting to put this up before putting up the rest of the pictures in her room. Her crib will eventually transform into her big girl bed, so this is where it will be for a LONG time! My little princess gets to sleep "in" her castle :)

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI??? Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used. I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :) CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!) I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER. I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape. The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too. I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)
