CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI???   Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used.  I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :)  CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!)  I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER.  I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape.  The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too.  I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)

CTMH- Everything ABC Blog Hop- F is for....

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter F. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their "F" element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! F is for.... I couldn't decide between Fabric Flowers and Fancy Folds... so you get both :) FABRIC FLOWERS I watched a video tutorial on Amie's blog about making fabric flowers with our new TEXTILES, so I gave it a try!  I used the For Always textiles , and added a big shimmer brad in the center.   The card uses the Mojo Monday 284 sketch .  I used Slate Cardstock, Black Glitter Paper and Roxie patterned paper.  The sentiment: You're Amazing is from the Artiste Cricut Collection- Kudos .    FANCY F...

CTMH-- Artiste in August Day 17- Card Sentiments

Welcome back to Day 17 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .   Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   Today is an ANY SHAPE day.  I would like to share some cards with you from my recent All You Can Create Card Class.  I tend to use a lot of Cricut cuts in these cards because it's easy to pop in some cardstock and hit the Quantity button and cut several at a time for class.  These are just some basic cuts for sentiments! This card features Clementine papers and Say It In Style stamps.  I used some Neutral Twine and Brown and Tan Bling.  This card is a copy of a card we created at convention. The sentiment is on a bracket from page 33  This card is a lift of a card I found on Pinterest.  I used the new Ruby ink and Scholastic papers.  I LOOOOVE the burlap ribbon on this one.  All you need to do to fray it as shown is cut off the binding, then pull some of the strings off...
