CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI???

Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used.  I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :)  CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!)  I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently.

This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER.  I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today.
I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos, CTMH's Slate Washi Tape, CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape.  The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday, stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape.

A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too.  I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom.

Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)

So clean & simple and TERRIFIC! This is a great "minimalist" card. Love how you cut banner ends onto all your elements, and mixing the washi tape with the silver trim really works. Thanks so much for joining the dare this week at Color My Heart!

Oh, I love this! This is the type of Washi style I wan to try, but it doesn't come naturally to me. I think there is a stamp on one of our WOTG to mimic the black and white arrows you made...I will have to check! The silver/grey and black combo is fantastic with Juniper! Great touch of sparkle, Jen! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Color Dare! :)

I love this very creative use of stamps and washi tape with a pop of Juniper! I like how you also how you used the washi tape on the inside as if you were continuing the design. Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Dare--we hope you will share your talent with us often!

Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
