Today I want to share with you my SHE-art!  I created this at the CTMH Team Builders event last month and I absolutely love it!  When Jill from CTMH set out all our supplies and showed us examples, I was excited to give this a try :)  I love the way it turned out, for my first try! I started with a 6x6 Canvas, added Heartstrings Paper to the background, along with some Paper Fundamentals in Juniper.  I used more of the Heartstrings paper to create my girl, both her face and her...

What do you do with your kids' school photos??  Do you put them in a picture frame on the wall and swap them out each year?  Do you scrapbook them?   HOW ABOUT DOING BOTH!!!!! This is my son's Spring School Photo from Kindergarten.  I wanted this photo/layout to be "frameable" I used the  Chalk It Up Paper pack, Chalk It Up compliments, Chalk It Up Assortment,   Framework Alphabet ,  Teal Glitter Paper,  Silver Shimmer Trim,  and a Journaling Pen.   Then I framed this layou t in the Black Design Decor Frame and Allison's (see it HERE) in the Colonial White Design Decor Frame.  They are hung on the wall, on the way to the scrapbook room :)

What a HOOT!   It's true, the August Stamp of the Month - What a Hoot- is amazing!  This has been the #1 selling stamp set this month :)  Don't let this one pass you by. This is one of the cards we made at my last class.  I used the Chalk It Up Star paper, lagoon cardstock, stamped with In The Background.  I stamped my owl friend on white cardstock, then colored him in with our old alcohol markers.  The hat was stamped on a scratch piece of white cardstock and the wings on another of the patterned paper from  Chalk It Up .    You can't tell in the picture, but I used foam tape to raise the hat and the wings :)  I added sparkles to my owl and black shimmer trim down the center finishes this card off.   What do you think???  Is this a birthday card??? Continuing on with my Chalk It Up Theme this month, I have another card to share with you. Today's card design was based on THIS one that I shared a couple weeks ago. For the sentiment, I took a bracket shape that comes with the Happy Birthday Cut Above Kit , and stamped Thanks So Much from You Mean The World To Me Stamp Set . I cut some Teal Glitter Paper , then used the new Chevron Border Punch on it.  I also ran a strip of white card stock through the Honeycomb Embossing Folder .
