I just ordered a whole bunch of Studio J layouts and would love to share with you some of them! My daughter's Pinkalicious birthday party was at the beginning of the month.  I used the Sophia kit to create these layouts. The first layout is a "lift" of the layout featured when you go to Studio J.  I used a tutorial from Studio Scrapping to create the stitching.  Mine is not perfect, but I love it! On this second layout, I changed the paper colors to fit the Pink theme :)  I created another Pool layout :)  I used the Caboodle kit, which accented the pool pics nicely! Happy St. Patrick's Day and welcome to another round of the ASP blog hop! Today we are inspired by spring! These (oh so cute, but SOLD OUT in my girl's size) pajamas from Gymboree are what we are taking our inspiration from today! I LOOOOVE the blue and white polka dots mixed with the daisy, so that's what I went with here! I also made this same card as a Birthday Card! I created a little treat basket for my club ladies to make at the Kit of the Month playdate tomorrow :) I got this idea from a fellow Joyful Hearts teammate Gail Blask. So bear with me as I give you my first ever tutorial on how to create one of your own :) Start with a 6x6 piece of cardstock, scored at 2" from all sides (creates a tic-tac-toe looking pattern). Cut the score lines on two sides, the opposing sides, to the middle score line. Fold in the middle first then the two sides forming a point. Adhere. You will also need a 1"x12" piece of cardstock for the handle and another piece of patterned paper at 3/4"x12" for decoration. Adhere the handle on the inside of the basket. Use any kind of die cut you like to cover the sides. I used the bunny from my Doodle Charms cricut cartridge for the Easter treat baskets and cut some hearts from the Doodle Charms cart to form 3 leaf clovers for St. Patrick's Day treat baskets! I'm thinking I might have to get another paper pack though because this would be great for Easter too!
