B is for BABY BOY Today I want to show off my Baby Boy Mini Album that I create with Avonlea & Scholastic papers! If you missed my BABY GIRL album, you can see it HERE.  This Baby Boy mini album was based loosely on a mini album given to consultants at Convention to create.  I used the papers they gave us, some of the instructions, but then went off on my own. To create this album, I used the Dimensional Elements Album page s that coordinates with Cricut Artiste .  I cut the papers to fit the album pages perfectly, adhered with Bonding Memories Glue and sponged the edges in Slate ink.   All elements were cut using Ar...

For the last several years, I have created THREE scrapbooked calendars for family and myself.  I used to do this the traditional scrapbook way, but now I do it the Studio J way! First, I get these awesome 12x12 calendars from CTMH : I stamp the name of the Month, then write in all the dates and finish it by adding some stamping that coordinates with the calendar page :)  I have tried stamping the dates (takes FOOOREVER!!!), I've tried number/date stickers (too time consuming to get those dang things straight)--- so now I just write them in.  Here's what that looks like (from 2011): Now for the Scrapbooked part..... If you have come here from Stephanie's blog , then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Kat's Blog Today I have created a layout using the Avonlea papers.  I thought this paper line was a perfect fit for some of our family photos from last winter.  I used Whisper for my base.  I cut a fancy shape from Artiste in the pattern paper, then 1/2" bigger in Chocolate paper.  I added some ribbon for decorative accent. The title uses some of the Houndstooth Irresistables and the Felicity Alphabet stamp set.  Finally I added some new brown & tan sparkles to the swirl stamps and a big rhinestone brad at the top. Welcome back to Day 4 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .  Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   This weekend you will be seeing MY CHOICES from the Artiste Collection!   Yesterday you saw a cute Purse/Card holder- today I want to share with you the cards I made to go in it!   The card holder fits 3x3 cards.  I cut each card base 3x6 in White daisy.  I cut Chocolate and Grey Wool carstock at 2.75x2.75".  Then I cut the word bubbles found on page 65.  Did you know that the Stamp Sets not only tell you what SIZE to cut the coordinating images at but what PAGE you'll find the image on in the handbook??? Welcome back to Day 3 of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's Blog .  Your next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.   This weekend you will be seeing MY CHOICES from the Artiste Collection!   This was the Make-n-Take at my All Day Crop last Saturday!!  Everyone who made one said it was adorable and easy to make :)  They all fell in love with Artiste too! I have created a super cute little card holder purse!  This purse can be found on page 32 in the handbook (page 4 in the assembly book).  I used the new Avonlea papers to cut the purse shape at 4.5".  This card-holding purse is cool because you don't use any adhesive at all, just fold and done! There are little slits on the side that fold over eachother to keep the card holder in place!  The card holder fits 3x3 cards.  (You'll see those tomorrow).  To keep the purse closed, I added a little velcro tab.   The brown bow is ...
