Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop- August- Avonlea & Scholastic

Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop!

We will be featuring artwork from the Avonlea paper pack and/or the Scholastic Paper Pack.

If you have come here from Stephanie's blog, then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Kat's Blog

Today I have created a layout using the Avonlea papers.  I thought this paper line was a perfect fit for some of our family photos from last winter.  I used Whisper for my base.  I cut a fancy shape from Artiste in the pattern paper, then 1/2" bigger in Chocolate paper.  I added some ribbon for decorative accent. The title uses some of the Houndstooth Irresistables and the Felicity Alphabet stamp set.  Finally I added some new brown & tan sparkles to the swirl stamps and a big rhinestone brad at the top.

Here is a card I created with Avonlea as well.  This one was for my last card class and was a big hit (until I forgot to bring the awesome silver ribbon....)
I used a card from Vicky W as inspiration.  I love the squares and love how it turned out :)

And not onto Scholastic.  School has been in session for us for a while. The Scholastic kit is PERFECT for those first day photos!  The Workshop On the Go layout is used here.

Now hop on over to Kat's Blog for your next stop.

Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
