I've been going through my layouts from this year (some are in boxes, some are in a drawer, none are in albums yet) and I wanted to showcase my favorite ten of the year!  Olivia Kit of the Month--- I was not a huge fan of the "fallish" layout that was featured, but I knew the colors would go perfectly with my daughters 2 year pictures.  Ice Cream- Hooligans Papers, Party Pennants and I Scream stamps.  Simple, lots of white space, but just enough! Magnifique Dad Layout- I love this pattern from the Magic How To Book BOYZ- Zippidee papers with another Pattern from Magic Another magnificent layout with Magnifique !  These blues are really amazing! Sweet Cherries- Cherry-O had such great colors!  I used up every inch of that paper pack! Spring Time with Splendor !  Veranda - very elegant and perfect for this picture! Rockin' the playful sporty layouts with You Rock Felicity- flowers work with baseball stadium pics too! ...

I was on vacation this past week, away from my scrap room, away from my paper, inks and stamps, away from reality.  I did however have a wireless internet connection :-)  So I brought my flash drives with me and worked on some Studio J layouts!   I am currently working on creating Calendar Layouts!  Some of my calendar pages will be 2-pagers- one being for the calendar and the matching page to go in the books.  Others will be single layouts, with a completely separate layout created next to it.  Since Studio J only works in 2-page layouts, I am making it work for my single paged calendar pages :) March- Veranda May- Magic Moments Pink Jeep- Magic Moments (right side of May layout) You too could scrapbook ANYWHERE!!!!!!! Thanks for joining me in another round of the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This month we are featuring April's- Flower Pot . A set of 16 flower pot stamps that are amazing! You will see many different creations from the fabulous consultants in this blog hop! This stamp set features different bunches of flowers, pots and a window box. There are three sentiments to go with it! For the hop this month, I created a beautiful card. I stamped the window box in Cocoa and used my markers and water brush to color in the shutters and plant holder. I stamped the flowers in bamboo and used a combination of markers (darker flowers) and waterbrush (lighter flowers) for the flowers and leaves. I put some bitty sparkles in the centers of the flowers for some bling! I clearly do NOT have a favorite paper pack from the Spring 2010 Idea Book because so far I LOOOOOVE them all! I got my Veranda kit a couple weeks ago after seeing THIS layout by Lisa Stenz and finding the perfect picture to use!
