CTMH -- Card Workshop

I had my first cardmaking class of 2013 this week!  It was a blast!  So nice to get back to creating and even better to see all my crafty friends :)

There were 12 cards to choose from and the ladies each made at least 8.  Success I would say!

Thank You Cards:
Left:  Triple Time Stamping!  The ladies loved learning this new technique!  I will have to do it again soon!  Used Ruby & White Daisy cardstock, January SOTM: Happy Valentine. 
Right:  Art Philosophy card!  Used Clementine papers, Remarkable wreath stamps.

Valentines Day Cards:
Top Left:  Featuring WHOO'S YOUR VALENTINE stamps :)  Used up some OLD Topstitch papers.
Top Right:  Puzzle Pieced Heart using La Belle Vie
Bottom Left:  I Love You- used Roxie papers and an old SOTM- Mad About You
Bottom Right:  Love U with all my Heart- my January SOTM card :)

BABY cards: 
How cute are these???  I modeled them after THESE on pinterest, using an old set- Nursery Bash.  The girl card uses Lucy and Dotty For You papers, while the Boy card uses just Dotty for You.  We colored using our new Alcohol markers- they are OH SO SMOOTH to color with!

Birthday Cards:
Left:  I went for a monotone look with the Dotty for You papers, and added a contrasting flower stamped with Hooray Bouquet!
Top:  The retiring and sold out Stella papers made an appearance here, along with Perfect Fit Frames and a birthday set. 
Bottom:  This card was also seen on Pinterest, using Cruisin papers, Pennant Alphabet and Card Chatter birthday.

Welcome to the Paper Secrets Holiday Blog Hop. I made a couple of things to share with you today. I created this lovely paper tree by punching a LOT of 1 1/4" circles of Mistletoe Paper, then used pearl floral pins to secure them in rows to a styrofoam cone.  As I neared the top, I had to use some adhesive so that they did not flare out, but sit in the cone shape.  At the top, I stamped 3 stars and adhered them to the top of the cone.  Supplies: Styrofoam cone Pearl Floral Pins CTMH Mistletoe level 2 paper CTMH Mistletoe Creative Basics paper D1320 Shining Star Stamps I created a second paper tree using instructions from Tracey Mason .  I created an accordion flower with a stamped sentiment for my topper on this one.   Supplies: Styrofoam Cone CTMH Mistletoe Level 2 papers K& Co paper D1380 Just for the Holidays Stamps I created a total of four paper trees to sit upon my mantel!  The "subway art" was a free printable from eighteen25 ....

April Showers Blog Hop

Thanks for joining me for another weekend of Blog Hoppin Fun!   If you have come here from Tina's Blog , you are on the right path!  Keep on hoppin until the end :) April Showers is our theme, and I went with the "shower" theme and made baby cards for baby showers!  I am addicted to making these stacked present cards lately!  I first saw one that my friend Jayma made, who found it on Vicki's blog.  Recently, I saw a couple cute ones on Haley's blog too.   I cut my paper strips at 1.25 tall x 3, 2.25 and 1.5 long.  Add a ribbon down the center, or just a bow on top and you're set!  I used the Sweet Baby stamp set and Polka Dot Alphabet for my sentiments.   Now I'm all set for the next baby shower..... (though I don't know any preggos right now).   This design is also great for Birthday Cards too!!!!  I made two each of these cards and stamped Birthday sentiments on them :) Supplies: BOY: Miracle Level 2 Sweet Baby...

September Stamp of the Month- Family is Forever

Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for Family is Forever If you have come here from   Judy's Blog ,  you're on the right path.  This month we have 80 amazing artists' blogs for you to visit. This stamp set is beautiful!  Lately I have seen this fun and easy marker technique, so I decided to give it a try with the September Stamp of the Month.    Using the ShinHan Twin Touch Markers : Leaf Green, Turquoise Blue, Vivid Green and Cerulean Blue Light, I colored diagonal streaks across the middle of my card.  Then I used Archival Black Ink to Stamp Family is Forever.  I stamped the little hearts in Lagoon ink and added some Blue and Green Sparkles to the bottom.  I used the Die Cut Card , so I added a piece of the Lagoon Paper Fundamentals to the inside of the card.   The September Stamp of the Month is available from September 1-30.  It is only $5 with a $50 purchase on  my webs...
