CTMH--- SNEAK PEEK at 2013 Spring Summer Product!

One of the biggest perks of being a Close To My Heart Consultant is that we get to order NEW PRODUCT one month before customers!  A bonus for you is that my order came in this week and I had a chance to create with some of it :) :)

I created two cards for my card class during the week using new product.  The ladies were super excited to see it and be able to create with it too!

CHANTILLY Birthday Card
This paper pack is featured on the cover of the Spring Summer Idea Book AND is what you get in the 2013 Consultant Kit!  SO PRETTY!!

My card today uses not only the Chantilly papers, but the NEW Chantilly TEXTILES too!  That's right, CTMH is introducing FABRIC!  The Chantilly Textiles have 3 patterns (Buttercup polka-dot, Pear damask and Blush small floral) at 14"'x24".  For only $8.95, I see myself using a whole lot of this fabric!
I also used a new Birthday set- Perfect Fit Birthday.  It coordinates with our Perfect Fit Frame stamp sets (there's a new one of those too!!!)
Finally- a new technique I learned--- COLORING ON SILVER TRIM!  YES!  Using the Alcohol markers, you can color the Silver Trim to be whatever color you like :)  AWESOME!

**Design is an original by me**  Doesn't happen very often, so I thought I'd point that out :)

FOR ALWAYS Anniversary Card
BE STILL MY HEART!  Black and white and damask?????  OH MY!  This paper pack is to die for!  It comes with cardstock in Ruby, Honey and Lagoon- awesome color pops!  WAIT- it gets better----- For Always has TEXTILES TOO!!!!  Black Damask, White with black polka-dots & Black with white script. 3 gorgeous patterns at 14"x24" for $8.95.  Those are going to be SO FUN to work with too!

My card uses For Always- but I added a pop of Smoky Plum.  I used the all new The Happy Couple stamp set for my sentiment.  The Slate Satin ribbon, tied with our new Black Buttons worked perfect with this card.
Incidently- Lavender and Silver were my wedding colors.... I'll be saving this card for MY anniversary :)

 NEW!!!!!  2013 Spring/Summer Idea Book

~*~ Holiday Blog Hop ~*~

Welcome to the Paper Secrets Holiday Blog Hop. I made a couple of things to share with you today. I created this lovely paper tree by punching a LOT of 1 1/4" circles of Mistletoe Paper, then used pearl floral pins to secure them in rows to a styrofoam cone.  As I neared the top, I had to use some adhesive so that they did not flare out, but sit in the cone shape.  At the top, I stamped 3 stars and adhered them to the top of the cone.  Supplies: Styrofoam cone Pearl Floral Pins CTMH Mistletoe level 2 paper CTMH Mistletoe Creative Basics paper D1320 Shining Star Stamps I created a second paper tree using instructions from Tracey Mason .  I created an accordion flower with a stamped sentiment for my topper on this one.   Supplies: Styrofoam Cone CTMH Mistletoe Level 2 papers K& Co paper D1380 Just for the Holidays Stamps I created a total of four paper trees to sit upon my mantel!  The "subway art" was a free printable from eighteen25 ....

April Showers Blog Hop

Thanks for joining me for another weekend of Blog Hoppin Fun!   If you have come here from Tina's Blog , you are on the right path!  Keep on hoppin until the end :) April Showers is our theme, and I went with the "shower" theme and made baby cards for baby showers!  I am addicted to making these stacked present cards lately!  I first saw one that my friend Jayma made, who found it on Vicki's blog.  Recently, I saw a couple cute ones on Haley's blog too.   I cut my paper strips at 1.25 tall x 3, 2.25 and 1.5 long.  Add a ribbon down the center, or just a bow on top and you're set!  I used the Sweet Baby stamp set and Polka Dot Alphabet for my sentiments.   Now I'm all set for the next baby shower..... (though I don't know any preggos right now).   This design is also great for Birthday Cards too!!!!  I made two each of these cards and stamped Birthday sentiments on them :) Supplies: BOY: Miracle Level 2 Sweet Baby...
