Baby Shower Creations with CTMH

My brother and his lovely wife are finally making me an AUNT!!!!  I'm over the moon excited!  I love babies, but I am DONE creating my own.  I cannot wait to love on, squeeze, kiss, snuggle and SPOIL their baby!  They are having a baby girl too :)

My mom and I threw them a couples/family shower and it was my job to create decorations for the shower.  I took it upon myself to create some gifts as well.

The theme we went with was Baby Carriages, in their colors:  Grey, Pink and White.

JOURNAL:  I used an older CTMH Journal, Dotty For You papers, Sweet Leaf Ribbon, Friendship Alphabet and Polka Dot Alphabet.

EMILY BANNER:  I cut the Baby Carriages  with the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge.  I used Posterboard Alphabet for the letters.

EMILY BLOCKS:  This is by far my favorite of all the things I created!  I used the CTMH 3x3 My Creations chipboard blocks and created the fronts using a variety of CTMH papers. The letters are the Eclectic Alphabet.  I added some bling and a couple of rolled roses.  I glued them all side by side and wrapped the Slate Satin ribbon around.  I created a bow with the Slate Ribbon and some other Pink Ribbon for the top!

BUTTERFLY FRAMES:  These were used on the game table.  I took a nice white frame I picked up at Michaels, and altered it by adding layered butterflies glued onto the frame. The butterflies were cut in 3 colors, from the Art Philosophy Collection.  I made 2 of these for them to use in her room :) I love this one too, and plan to make some more to sell!!

MONOGRAMS:  This was one of the guessing games, I stamped the decorative frame with  Perfect Fit Frames and then stamped with the Monogram E

MONOGRAM NOTECARDS:  Finally, I created 36 notecards for them to use as Thank You's.  I used a variety of CTMH and other papers (La Belle Vie, Lucy), stamped the decorative frame with  Perfect Fit Frames and then stamped with the Monogram E

I am now feeling quite guilty that my unborn niece has such amazing hand-made personalized items.... I need to create some more fun stuff for my daughter!

Here are some more of the party decorations:

Baby Carriages with flowers on each table

Patio of tables with baby clothesline

Cake & Desserts table

Baby Pictures strung on the mantle

The cute mommy and daddy to be!

Everything you created is so lovely and unique. Congrats on becoming an Auntie. Now if my nearly 34 yo brother would get on with it so I can become one on that side of the family. LOL :)

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
