2014 Studio J Calendar

Even though I use the Calendar on my phone quite a bit, there's nothing better than having ALL the family activities written on a calendar for all to see!

Each year, one of my most favorite projects is to create my STUDIO J 12x12 monthly calendars.  I create three of them, one for myself, one for my parents and one for my in-laws.  I actually work on them all year long in STUDIO J, which makes the job go a whole lot quicker at the end of the year :)

Here's how it's done:
First, I get these awesome 12x12 calendars from CTMH:

I stamp the name of the Month, then write in all the dates and finish it by adding some stamping that coordinates with the calendar page :)

Now for the Scrapbooked part..... I use STUDIO J!!!!!  Why???  It allows me to create a layout ONCE, then print as many as I want!  I could make 20 calendars (but I won't, haha).
Studio J makes 2-page layouts--- well, sure, it does.  Here's what I do:  1)  Use the same photos on both pages (3 on one page, 3 on the other page) and use them on 2 different calendars.  OR 2)  Create a 2-page layout and use one page on the calendar, and put the other in my album.
I do the 1st option most often!
 Let me show you:
Option 1- use one on each calendar:

Same pictures used (+1), one on each calendar :)  This was from last year's calendar

Option 2- One page for Calendar, One for album:

Here's the entire 2014 Calendar:

Take a look at my 2011, 2012 calendars too!

Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
