CTMH Event Calendar

How often have you had to look up someone's birthday or anniversary?  How often do you have to transfer those special dates from one Calendar to the next??  What a pain!

I have a solution to help you keep them all in ONE place, a perpetual calendar, that you re-use year after year!!

EVENT CALENDAR

I love these event calendars!!!  I have had mine for a couple years now, but sadly it was not fully decorated.  I had done a couple months, but the rest was left plain.  NOT ANYMORE!  I finally got around to completing the whole calendar.  Not only that, but I made 10 (TEN) of these!

You would think that decorating a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2 " square would be a piece of cake.... not so much!  I tried to add as much glitter & glitz as I could, without making the pages bulky!

January:  Frosted papers, Winter Wishes (Hostess Exclusive Stamp set), Silver Shimmer trim & Silver Glitz Glitter Gel

February- For Always, Cross Stitch Wishes, Artiste & Art Philosophy, Black Shimmer Trim

March:  In The Background, A Child's Year (Cricut)

April:  Chantilly Papers, My Peeps (retired stamps), Artbooking, Pink Glitz Glitter Gel

May:  Artiste, Hello Blooms stamps, Art Philosophy

June:  Surfs Up, Artbooking, Footloose Stamps, Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel

July:  Tommy Papers, Artbooking, Glitz Glitter Gel in Red & Silver

August:  Sarita Papers, You Are My Happy Stamps (retired),

September:  Typeset papers, Artbooking, School is Here Stamps

October:  Spellbound Papers, Artbooking,

November:  Huntington papers, Art Philosophy, Tan Glitter paper, Artbooking

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...

CTMH-- September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favori

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September 2012, featuring Fall Favorites   All artwork on the hop will feature Fall Favorites!  This is a set of 11 stamps and it's really making me want FALL---- NOW!!!  How cute is this set!?  If you have come here from  Susan's Blog y ou are on the right path. For my card today, I used the new Clementine paper pack, which is so versatile!  I cut the tag from Art Philosophy and stamped Fall Favorites in Brown Staz-on ink, then colored the pumpkin and leaves with my new markers.  I found that they don't blend and shade terribly well on Kraft cardstock- but the color showed up.  I added some of my favorite Burlap Ribbon to the card :) Do you think I like pumpkin pie???  Just a little bit ;) The September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favorites is available September 1-30th.  With any $50 purchase, this set is yours for $5....
