CTMH--Stamp of the Month - Baroque Borders - Artiste in August

Welcome to the DOUBLE BLOG HOP!!!

Today is the FIRST day of the Artiste in August Blog Hop!!  You should be arriving from Amy's BlogYour next stop will be PAMELA'S BLOG.

It is also the Stamp of the Month blog hop time!  The stamp of the month for August is Baroque Borders. If you have come here from Melinda's blog you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be SUSAN'S BLOG.

Today I have created the Magazine File card holder found on page 47 in the Artiste handbook (assembly instructions are on page 18). The handbook says to cut the images at 6", so that's what I did.  I cut the bottom box portion in Sorbet cardstock.  Before cutting the outer part, I stamped the Smoothie Cardstock with the Baroque Border stamp set.  I added some sparkles for some bling, and Color Ready Seam Binding for an accent.

This box will hold several cards, and even envelopes too!

This will be a project for my All You Can Create Card Class in August- I know the ladies will be super excited about this one :)

The Baroque Borders Stamp set is available on my website August 1st- 31st.  It is just $5 with a $50 purchase.   SHOP HERE!!

So cute I was trying to make that set work for me but I ran out of time so did a simpler pattern with a stamp set I am more comfy with but I am going to use that on a project soon. Love your card box! Gorgeous
Such a fabulous box - what a great way to put together to showcase cards or to give as gift sets. TFS

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
