We're feeling LUCKY over at H2H Challenges!

There are SO MANY reasons why I'm feeling LUCKY these days! First, because I'm currently in Costa Rica on the trip of a lifetime. Secondly, I have an amazing man in my life- my hubby! And of course, not to be forgotten, I have these two little monkey's who I love to pieces!
I AM A LUCKY MOM!

Today's layout was created from a Make It From Your Heart pattern. I used Chantilly patterned paper, a Green Glitter Paper overlay, along with White Daisy, Outdoor Denim and Cotton Candy cardstocks. I created a shamrock in Cricut Craft Room from shapes on Art Philosophy. I also cut the bracket frame shape and flowers from Art Philosophy. The overlay was cut from Artbooking. The Lucky Mom Title was cut from Artiste. I added Pink Polka dot Washi Tape, Slate Polka Dot Washi Tape, Silver Shimmer Trim, Epoxy Alphabet, Blue Chevron Ribbon & Pink Glitter Gems to embellish.

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI??? Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used. I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :) CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!) I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER. I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape. The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too. I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)

CTMH-- September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favori

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September 2012, featuring Fall Favorites All artwork on the hop will feature Fall Favorites! This is a set of 11 stamps and it's really making me want FALL---- NOW!!! How cute is this set!? If you have come here from Susan's Blog y ou are on the right path. For my card today, I used the new Clementine paper pack, which is so versatile! I cut the tag from Art Philosophy and stamped Fall Favorites in Brown Staz-on ink, then colored the pumpkin and leaves with my new markers. I found that they don't blend and shade terribly well on Kraft cardstock- but the color showed up. I added some of my favorite Burlap Ribbon to the card :) Do you think I like pumpkin pie???
