CTMH-- Fanfare + Cricut Art Philosophy layout

I could not wait to start using my new Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge on some of my scrapbook pages. 

I used CTMH's Fanfare level 2 papers to create this layout of my little darlings on the 4th of July.  I cut the postage stamp background in Cranberry using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  At the top, I stamped the firework with American Celebration, the July Stamp of the Month.  I also used one of CTMH's new Decor Journaling Spots, but the pattern did not work for me, so I just covered it with the pattern paper from Fanfare.

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI???   Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used.  I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :)  CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!)  I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER.  I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape.  The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too.  I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. CTMH-- September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favori

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September 2012, featuring Fall Favorites   All artwork on the hop will feature Fall Favorites!  This is a set of 11 stamps and it's really making me want FALL---- NOW!!!  How cute is this set!?  If you have come here from  Susan's Blog y ou are on the right path. For my card today, I used the new Clementine paper pack, which is so versatile!  I cut the tag from Art Philosophy and stamped Fall Favorites in Brown Staz-on ink, then colored the pumpkin and leaves with my new markers.  I found that they don't blend and shade terribly well on Kraft cardstock- but the color showed up.  I added some of my favorite Burlap Ribbon to the card :) Do you think I like pumpkin pie???  Just a little bit ;) The September Stamp of the Month- Fall Favorites is available September 1-30th.  With any $50 purchase, this set is yours for $5....
