Spring Fashions-- Sewing projects

Did you know I sew too?  I consider myself a beginner still, but I do enjoy sewing.  Every once in a while, I will bring out my machine, fabric and supplies and create a few projects.  Then I'll put it away for a couple months....

This week, I started out by hemming some of my husband's baseball pants.  I have had a few sewing projects brewing in my mind, so I kept the machine out and went to town :)

I created this tank top dress via my dear college friend Heather's blog/tutorial. I was so excited to see when she posted this tutorial, because I had just purchased a couple plain tanks from Old Navy's sale!  I plan to make another one of these this week :)

I adore this super cute outfit too!  My mommy group friend Amy from Positively Splendid has done a couple of these ruffled appliques on t-shirts, so I used her tutorial found HERE.
The skirt is just a simple A-line skirt that I attempted to add a ruffled edge to.  That part did not turn out quite like I had envisioned, but its cute none the less.

I can't wait for it to get a little warmer so my little darling can wear these cute creations :)

Cute cute cute!! I love how the ruffled edge turned out, even if it isn't how you envisioned.

E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
