Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for August 2010!

All artwork on the hop will feature August's SOTM- Something Splendid  a set of 13 stamps! If you have come here from Carol's Blog you are on the right path!

This month we have 70 CTMH Consultants sharing their SOTM creations, and other great CTMH artwork. Hopping along is fun and simple to do - just click the link at the end of each blogger's post to move to the next one!

This month I have Layout to share using the Splendor Kit.  This layout is a lift of FancyMelissa's that I've saved for a while.  Its also a sketch from Creative Scrappers.  I LOVE how the pictures and patterns are positioned along an 8 1/2x11 sheet of cardstock.  I used a couple of the sentiments from Something Splendid along with the large flower stamp.
The flower is stamped using the 2-step method.  I had a great time mixing and matching colors for this stamp, using the Splendor colors!
There is a sneak peak of NEW PRODUCT on this layout too..... BLUE & GREEN SPARKLES!

Supplies:
All CTMH unless noted
Splendor Level 2
Something Splendid
Lots of Dots Irrisistable Alpha
Blue & Green Sparkles
Topiary, Crystal Blue, Moonstruck, Goldrush, Sunflower inks
Topiary Marker

Remember, the August SOTM is only available until 8/30! Click here to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!
Combine your monthly club orders, orders for TRIPLE PLAY, Kit of the Month orders etc to earn this set for FREE!

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
