Inspired By A Song

This week at Heart2Heart Challenges, we are featuring projects inspired by songs :)

 The first thing that popped into my head, when thinking about the challenge and songs, was HAPPY.  I came across the Happy Hexagon stamp set (Hostess Rewards set)  and got to work.  

The Brushed paper pack is so bright and cheery, it makes me happy!  I cut the hexagons from Artbooking at 1 1/2" from the patterned papers, along with White Cardstock.  I added some Flamingo Dots and Bitty Sparkles to finish the card off.

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI???   Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used.  I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :)  CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!)  I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER.  I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape.  The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too.  I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom.
