This stamp set is beautiful!  Lately I have seen this fun and easy marker technique, so I decided to give it a try with the September Stamp of the Month.    Using the ShinHan Twin Touch Markers : Leaf Green, Turquoise Blue, Vivid Green and Cerulean Blue Light, I colored diagonal streaks across the middle of my card.  Then I used Archival Black Ink to Stamp Family is Forever.  I stamped the little hearts in Lagoon ink and added some Blue and Green Sparkles to the bottom.  I used the Die Cut Card , so I added a piece of the Lagoon Paper Fundamentals to the inside of the card.   The September Stamp of the Month is available from September 1-30.  It is only $5 with a $50 purchase on  my webs...

This week's challenge over at Heart2Heart Challenges is Inspired by Food.   A couple weeks ago we went fruit picking at a local u-pick farm.  The fruits were delicious, the scenery was amazing and the company was fabulous.   I decided to scrapbook this adventure with Studio J.   I used the Flirty Kit for this layout. You've heard me rave before about Studio J , and this is no exception!  I took tons of pictures and was able to incorporate lots of them in this layout without having to print any of them, or crop any of them.  I just uploaded and dragged them into the slots.  EASY PEASY! I hope you'll play along with us a Heart2Heart this week!

What a HOOT!   It's true, the August Stamp of the Month - What a Hoot- is amazing!  This has been the #1 selling stamp set this month :)  Don't let this one pass you by. This is one of the cards we made at my last class.  I used the Chalk It Up Star paper, lagoon cardstock, stamped with In The Background.  I stamped my owl friend on white cardstock, then colored him in with our old alcohol markers.  The hat was stamped on a scratch piece of white cardstock and the wings on another of the patterned paper from  Chalk It Up .    You can't tell in the picture, but I used foam tape to raise the hat and the wings :)  I added sparkles to my owl and black shimmer trim down the center finishes this card off.   What do you think???  Is this a birthday card??? Continuing on with my Chalk It Up Theme this month, I have another card to share with you. Today's card design was based on THIS one that I shared a couple weeks ago. For the sentiment, I took a bracket shape that comes with the Happy Birthday Cut Above Kit , and stamped Thanks So Much from You Mean The World To Me Stamp Set . I cut some Teal Glitter Paper , then used the new Chevron Border Punch on it.  I also ran a strip of white card stock through the Honeycomb Embossing Folder .
