Convention Team Gift Pillow Box & Mardi Gras Mask

I made it to DISNEYWORLD for the 2013 Close To My Heart Convention!  Today is LEADERSHIP DAY!

Today I want to share with you the pillow box and tags I created for my team's gifts.  I will share the gift tomorrow (once EVERYONE is here!!)

 I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the pillow box at 8".  I used paper from Spellbound (retired) and Dotty For You (retired), along with some red glitter cardstock.  I added a strip of paper from For Always, some Black Shimmer Trim and some red washi tape I had on hand.  
 
The tag was also cut from Art Philosophy at 2 1/2".  I added paper from Giggles & Grins (retired), along with a Mickey Head cut from the Black Glitter Paper from Mickey & Friends cartridge.  

 The tags were attached using various ribbons from my stash, Neutral Embroidery Floss and Neutral Bakers Twine.

My team will have the pleasure tonight of attending the BIGGEST AND BEST TEAM PARTY OF THE YEAR!!!!  We are a part of the Dream Team!  Our amazing ultimate upline- Karen Morris (my 3rd upline) is the hostess!  
The theme this year is Mardi Gras!  We were challenged to create a mask, using CTMH product and BLING!!! 

I was going with the Disney theme here:

I found a basic mask template online, cut it out in red glitter paper.  I added Silver Glitz Glitter Glue around the eyes and some sparkles on the sides of the eyes.  The top is a mickey hat, cut from black Glitter Paper.  I added some old organdy ribbon on the side, along with a silver glitter paper star.  The "handle" is popsicle sticks covered in black shimmer trim.  I added my team logo on the hat, blinged out with Red Glitz Glitter Glue.

It may not look like it in the picture, but it doesn't get much blingy-er than this!  Glitter & Glitz Galore!

April Showers Blog Hop

Thanks for joining me for another weekend of Blog Hoppin Fun!   If you have come here from Tina's Blog , you are on the right path!  Keep on hoppin until the end :) April Showers is our theme, and I went with the "shower" theme and made baby cards for baby showers!  I am addicted to making these stacked present cards lately!  I first saw one that my friend Jayma made, who found it on Vicki's blog.  Recently, I saw a couple cute ones on Haley's blog too.   I cut my paper strips at 1.25 tall x 3, 2.25 and 1.5 long.  Add a ribbon down the center, or just a bow on top and you're set!  I used the Sweet Baby stamp set and Polka Dot Alphabet for my sentiments.   Now I'm all set for the next baby shower..... (though I don't know any preggos right now).   This design is also great for Birthday Cards too!!!!  I made two each of these cards and stamped Birthday sentiments on them :) Supplies: BOY: Miracle Level 2 Sweet Baby...
