I recently learned how to make this double pocket card, and have since made several :) I love that you can fit a gift card, tag, or decorative element in the pockets! TODAY was my 6 year anniversary with Close To My Heart!  What an amazing journey!!! I joined for the discount. I thought I could teach a class or two and share my love for paper crafting with others. Instead, it's provided me with a s teady income, allow me to build wonderful relationships with other crafters both customers and team member alike, be recognized on stage at Convention as one of the companies leaders and mostly build a team that I adore! I never dreamed this "hobby" would reward me with a cruise to the South Caribbean! It's been a BUSY BUSY week!  It always amazes me how BUSY things get in the spring time... I did, however, have a chance to spend some serious time getting crafty this weekend!  I pulled out the upcoming National Scrapbook Day special- DREAM POP and got to work! First of all- this paper pack is SOOOOO COOOOOL !  Look at the colors!  They're ALL NEW and exclusive to this paper pack (so far--- never know what's coming in the next Idea Book!)  The patterns are funky, bright, trendy and CUTE!  The cardstock is UV- basically it has a pattern that is embossed onto it.  Here's what's SUPER COOL:  when you spend $35 in May- you get DREAM POP for only $10!  wooohooo! Tax day is here..... are you finished yet???  I dread doing taxes :(  It takes me forever, takes longer each year, and that's just to get everything prepared for the big day.  I'm very grateful for an amazing accountant, who's been doing my family's taxes for years. I am constantly on the lookout for beautiful artwork, especially cards, to use as inspiration.   Recently, a consultant shared a pattern for creating SIX cards from ONE SHEET of patterned paper.  I was thrilled to get a hold of this :)  I got to work right away using the For Always paper pack .  Along with the one sheet of patterned paper, I added some Lagoon Cardstock for matting, white cardstock for stamping, white card bases, and Small Flourish Sparkle s for accents.  I used the 4 my friend stamp set and For a Friend stamp set , along with Lagoon & Black ink.  The pattern makes two each of these three cards: Then once I made those six cards, I cut the materials again and added some Honey & the Casual Expressions stamp set to make MORE cards :)  This one is for an upcoming card class this weekend!    And I'm currently working on a new set using the Avonlea Paper Pack !  Are you i...

If you have come here from Keeley's Blog then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Catherine's Blog Did you know that Chantilly is the featured paper pack in the Spring Consultant kit??   Today I want to share with you the layout I created based on the Chantilly Workshop on the Go layout.  I wanted to show how a "girly" kit can be made more boyish!  In this layout, I followed the cutting guide in the Workshop on the go, but switched out the papers.  I used Twilight cardstock for my base pages, and sanded it, to lighten it up a little.  I used the Chantilly Workshop stamp set, but added some Easter Images and sentiments to make it work for my Easter Layout.   Detail of the tag:  I used Polka Dot Alphabet and (retired) My Peeps.  See how wonderfully our Alcohol Markers colo...
