I am a HUGE FAN of ALL of Jeanette Lynton's how-to books! I have been using them for over 6 years and they never get old!

Make if From Your Heart is the newest edition (and cheapest too!). This one is super cool because it has a little of everything.... It has 16 two-page layouts, 2 single-page patterns and 12 card patterns! It's only $7.95- what a steal!

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI??? Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used. I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :) CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!) I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER. I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape. The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too. I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)
