Today I have created a birthday card for my little man who is turning 7 this month!  I was going for something big-boy and thought I'd play with the numbers on Capture the Date a little bit.  I used some scraps from the Dakota paper pack and Slate cardstock for my base.  I arranged the numbers on a block, then stamped tone on tone in slate.  I added the number 7 from the Irresistibles Houndstooth Alphabet set and placed it on top of a chipboard die cut from the Artiste Collection.  I added some Outdoor Denim twill ribbon and Durables Round Studs for accents :) The November Stamp of the Month is available November 1-30.  With ...

My brother and his lovely wife are finally making me an AUNT!!!!  I'm over the moon excited!  I love babies, but I am DONE creating my own.  I cannot wait to love on, squeeze, kiss, snuggle and SPOIL their baby!  They are having a baby girl too :)  My mom and I threw them a couples/family shower and it was my job to create decorations for the shower.  I took it upon myself to create some gifts as well.  The theme we went with was Baby Carriages, in their colors:  Grey, Pink and White. JOURNAL:  I used an older CTMH Journal, Dotty For You papers, Sweet Leaf Ribbon, Friendship Alphabet and Polka Dot Alphabet. EMILY BANNER:  I cut the Baby Carriages  with the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge.  I used Posterboard Alphabet for the letters. CTMH has a super cute Workshop Kit that was created especially to coordinate with the new Artiste Cricut Collection :  SPELLBOUND!  I love the papers that came in this kit!  They are the traditional Orange (Sunset), Black, Grey (Slate) and White.  I used the spellbound kit to create the banner, several cupcake wrappers, a couple of treat bags and used the leftovers for these 6 cards: I even have some more leftover to create a layout or two.... :)
