CTMH--- Welcome Banner

**This is my 500th post.... WOW**

I'm so happy to have a home to display my home decor projects in!

I was inspired by this banner by Lisa Stenz.  I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to make one of my own for the entry in our new home!  It took me a while.... a long while, to make this.  Maybe it was because I was sicker than sick when I created it, but it seemed to take forever.

On four of the banner pieces, I used the Spray Pen with Vineyard Berry reinker, create a shade pearl paint & water and sprayed the actual chipboard.  On the other three banner pieces I used some old Silhouette paper.  The paper rosettes were made with two 2" strips of patterned paper, accordian folded and glued together.  I used the Silhouette paper on the red banners and Wings paper for the others.  I used our new 2" scallop circle punch for the red background and the Bohemian Alphabet for the letters. I sponged all the edges in black ink.  I had some black ribbon on hand and evenly spaced out the banner to hang just right in my entry way.

Sorry that wouldn't  rotate....

Doesn't it look FABULOUS!

NOW- when you leave my house.... you see a blank banner.... so I have to work on that side.

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
