This month I have Layout to share using the Splendor Kit.  This layout is a lift of FancyMelissa's that I've saved for a while.  Its also a sketch from Creative Scrappers .  I LOVE how the pictures and patterns are positioned along an 8 1/2x11 sheet of cardstock.  I used a couple of the sentiments from Something Splendid along with the large flower stamp. There are some CUTE layouts in there that I'd like to lift!! Zippidee is the 4th and Final Paper pack in the Summer Idea Book that I'm working with. CTMH certainly did NOT disappoint this Summer. All 4 packs (Cherry-O, Splendor, Passages and Zippidee) have been super fun to work with. When I saw Zippidee in the Idea Book, it was used primarily with Disney photos. And of course I have a TON of those from our trip to Disneyland last month. BUT- I also saw a great use for it with T-ball and even 4th of July. See how versatile it can be??!! Here are the scrapbook layouts I created with the Passages Kit of the Month ! I don't often deviate too much from the sketch provided, simply because the sketches are awesome! I thought the Passages papers were perfect for a Father's Day theme! The nice thing about these kits is I had already decided to use these pages for Father's day, so I knew "what kind" of pictures I needed, what size and what orientation. For the Close To My Heart Convention last week, I created these layouts for my roomies! I wanted them to have a nice page to put some of their favorite convention photos on (like one of the 4 of us). There is no stamping on this layout (although we did get a stamp set at Convention that would create that logo that I printed out off the Convention website I just LOVE the little lollipop flowers at the bottom of the first page- so easy and yet so cute! Just punch out circles, crumple them to distress, then layer and use a brad or button in the center. Your circles can be different sizes or all the same size, then hand manipulated to whatever shape you desire. Another cool thing I did was created a "suede" look on the bottom of my twilight cardstock on the second page. I did that by rubbing my stamp pad directly onto the paper.
