3 months in the making.....

So I've been working on my daughter's birth announcements for over 3 months now! It started with an idea I came across from another CTMH consultant. I then found the template and chose my papers/colors. Then I made a prototype out of scraps. Then she came and I got busy with newborn stuff! I placed my order for supplies though. Sometime in June I started cutting out the card bases. I decided on the photo to use in July and got that ordered! Sometime later in July, I worked on them some more. At the end of July I spent a week at my parents house and sat down and worked on them some more. My mom then threatened me that I had to get them out soon or else. So now that my retreat is over, I'm caught up on life... I made it my project of the week!! It took a few hour this week but they are done!!!! ALL 96!!!!!!!!! My goal was to have them out before she's 3 months old (I made it). They will be handed out to those who come to her baptism this weekend and then mailed out on Monday!

** Disclaimer---- if you are lucky enough to get one of these beautiful creations, I better see it proudly displayed in your house somewhere! If not, you will be disowned!!!!!! hee hee!

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...
