CTMH--- February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for February 2012, featuring Thoughtful Tidings!

All artwork on the hop will feature Thoughtful Tidings!  This is a set of 11 stamps, perfect for creating cards, recording dates on layouts and more!   If you have come here from Gina's Blog you are on the right path.

This month we have  over 50 CTMH Consultants sharing their SOTM creations, and other great CTMH artwork. Hopping along is fun and simple to do - just click the link at the end of each blogger's post to move to the next one!  Be sure to leave some love (comments) along the way :)

Today I have created a Valentine Card for the kids to give to Daddy.
I used the new paper pack VICTORY and of course Art Philosophy to cut my circles.
I used my cuttlebug to create a houndstooth pattern on the Chocolate Cardstock, then sanded it a little.  I also sanded the rest of the Chocolate cardstock edges to distress.  I used a couple of our new DURABLES square stud embellishments in pewter- which are so cool because they are self adhesive :)
"We Love You" is from the February SOTM and "DAD" is from the Bingo Alphabet set.

This Stamp Of The Month set:  Thoughtful Tidings, can be yours two ways:
Purchase it for $17.95 OR
Spend $50 and get it for only $5

Make sure you get this fabulous set before 2/29/12!

I just know you are going to see some amazing, and very versatile projects along this hop!!!! Now hop on over to TRACI'S Blog  to see what she has created for you!

CTMH- Everything ABC's Blog Hop- E is for Easter

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter E. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their E element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy  If you came from Shelly ~ Just One Piece then you're on the right track! E is for EASTER You may recall a few months ago, I posted a couple layouts from the baby album I am making for my niece.... well she's now 3 months old and I only finished through 4 months!  I have some work to do..... Today I created an Easter Layout using THIS layout as my inspiration.  The Chantilly paper pack is perfectly girly and springy!  I cut two strips of the green pattern, then sliced it up to make it look like grass.  Using Art Philosophy, I cut out a bunch of different eggs in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and ...

CTMH- Washi Tape Card

Do you WASHI???   Washi Tape is one of the new and super trendy products being used.  I'm not afraid to jump on the bandwagon :)  CTMH now has a Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (and I HOPE there are lots more to come!!!)  I also have picked up a couple others at Michaels recently. This weeks Color My Heart Color Dare is JUNIPER.  I decided to use Juniper as the accent color for my card today. I used the black banner stamp set from Artiste Kudos , CTMH's Slate Washi Tape , CTMH's Silver Shimmer Trim and a black arrow washi tape.  The sentiment is from Artiste Birthday , stamped in Juniper, then popped on foam tape. A simple card like this, called for some dressing up of the inside too.  I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Fit Birthday and added some Slate Washi Tape to the bottom. Head over to Color My Heart to check out the other color dare entries :)
