Merry Christmas

Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas, from  my family to yours!

This year I created my Christmas cards in Studio J again!  I used the Snowhaven Paper Pack and Stickease.  They came together quickly and once created, I could print as many sets as I needed :)

Christmas Ornament Shadow Box

Do you make your own Christmas Decorations??

I want to share with you an easy project I created for my Christmas decor this year!  A Christmas Ornament ShadowBox, two actually :)

I used an 8x8 shadowbox frame I found at Michaels, and small ornaments that I found at Target.  I added a piece of patterned paper to the back of the frame, placed the ornaments inside, then added "Merry & Bright" cut from Artiste in white vinyl on the top of the glass.  

Super easy and fun project.

Tinsel Time at Heart2Heart

It is our final challenge at Heart 2 Heart challenges for 2014?!?  It is time to drag out the tinsel!  We are throwing down a glitzy color challenge for you: Silver, Lagoon, and Black!  

I pulled out my Artfully Sent Cartridge to create a beautiful, quick and easy Christmas card.

This card was cut from Silver Glitter paper, at 4".  I backed the wording with Lagoon cardstock, then placed it on a black cardstock card base.  I added some sparkles to finish it off.

Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Welcome to our Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop!  Today we are featuring artwork created with products from Close To My Heart's new Seasonal Expressions Book.   We have over 30 Consultants participating in this circular hop so when you get back to me, you will know you have visited all of the blogs!  If you came from Kelly's blog you are on the right track!  If you get lost along the way you can find the entire participating hoppers HERE.

Today I want to share with you my SHE-art!  I created this at the CTMH Team Builders event last month and I absolutely love it!  When Jill from CTMH set out all our supplies and showed us examples, I was excited to give this a try :)  I love the way it turned out, for my first try!

I started with a 6x6 Canvas, added Heartstrings Paper to the background, along with some Paper Fundamentals in Juniper.  I used more of the Heartstrings paper to create my girl, both her face and her dress.  I cut the sun from Brushed papers.  I then stamped some of the Assorted Edges in Black and Distressed Backgrounds in Lagoon.  I cut out a heart in Cotton Candy Paper Fundamentals, and a baseball out of Chalk It Up papers.  I added red and black shimmer trim, Silver Sequins, Bitty Bling and a Crown charm to embellish.  Lastly, I hand doodled with a black journaling pen.

I started by random stamping 2 of the cupcake images in Flaxen ink on White Daisy cardstock.  I then used this to create my cards.

Studio J- Celebrating CTMH

What better way to scrapbook the photos from  my CTMH team's Celebration with corporate CFO that with Studio J!

Back in April, we found out that my team had earned our very own PaRtY with a visit from a corporate executive in September.  We were soooooo excited!  Though many could not make the trip to Fresno to be with us, those of us there had a blast!

Heart 2 Heart Challenges- No Rules

To conclude the November "No" challenges, Heart2Heart is doing No Rules this week.  So that means anything goes!

Happy Birthday to my Boy!

Yesterday my son turned 9 years old... where does the time go??  

Here's the card I made for him for his Birthday :)

I cut this card at 5" from Artfully Sent, in black cardstock, then backed the rocket withWhisper and Canary cardstock.  I backed the words with White and Canary cardstock.  

Isn't my Tyler the most handsome?!?!
