Today I'm sharing a card that I created for my daughter's birthday. She turned 4 on Tuesday and I wanted to make her a card using the super cute bird in this set.
I used up some older papers to make it fit her girly, spunky personality. Her favorite color is pink of course, so I found some pink patterned paper from That's Amore & Daydream (retired) as well as the Zebra print from Roxy.
I stamped the bird in black ink onto the lighter pink paper, then again in Hollyhock on the darker pink, then cut it out and adhered it over the black image. I used some pink sparkles for it's eye. The party hat was also stamped in Hollyhock and I used foam tape to raise it up. On the inside I stamped "it's your birthday" along with some balloons.
I cut out the frame image from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to stamp the sentiment, then raised it with foam tape as well.
She just loved her birdie card :)
I helped my son create a card for his sister as well. He wanted to cut a Princess (from Once Upon A Princess) and then he stamped the green swirls and "Little Princess" from our retired "Little Princess" stamp set.
And here's my princess and I on her Birthday :)
OK back to blog hoppin business....
