Dream Pop & Canvas

It's been a BUSY BUSY week!  It always amazes me how BUSY things get in the spring time...

I did, however, have a chance to spend some serious time getting crafty this weekend!  I pulled out the upcoming National Scrapbook Day special- DREAM POP and got to work!

First of all- this paper pack is SOOOOO COOOOOL!  Look at the colors!  They're ALL NEW and exclusive to this paper pack (so far--- never know what's coming in the next Idea Book!)  The patterns are funky, bright, trendy and CUTE!  The cardstock is UV- basically it has a pattern that is embossed onto it.  Here's what's SUPER COOL:  when you spend $35 in May- you get DREAM POP for only $10!  wooohooo!

I plan to have an AWESOME Card Workshop AND Scrapbook Workshop available using this paper pack--- give me a couple weeks!

On to my creations---- I have had this 6x6 canvas sitting around for a little while and I got some inspiration from a couple that I've seen lately.  Plus, I decided I had the perfect picture for it :) :)
I used the Honeycomb stamp set to create the background, stamping the out line image in Slate, using our Pigment Ink (LOVE these!). I stamped one of the honeycomb patterns in Whisper a couple times right on the canvas too.  Then I stamped a few more of the honeycomb patterns onto paper and trimmed.  I also used the Grey Cardstock from Dream Pop and the Once Upon A Princess Cricut Cartridge to cut out a couple more honeycombs.  The photo mat is the Mint Cardstock from Dream Pop.  I cut one more honeycomb and stamped it with a sentiment from the 2011 convention Stamp set- "If you can dream it, you can do it" - Walt Disney.  Finally I cut some banners from Art Philosophy and stamped 2013 on them.  I adhered all the paper to the canvas with Liquid Glass.  I used a piece of slate ribbon to hang the canvas in my Office!

This canvas is hanging next to my CTMH business one (from Jewel Kade).  I think I'm going to make a couple more to surround it :)
